Wszystko wskazuje na to, że jest Boże Narodzenie. Nie chodzi tylko o śnieg za oknem, ale i to, że święta wymagają ode mnie w tym roku prezentowanego przygotowania (nie mamy w rodzinie tradycji prezentów wielkanocnych). Ale tym razem święta zgrały się w czasie z trzema rodzinnymi okazjami - urodzinami babci, urodzinami mamy i 60. rocznicą ślubu dziadków - więc czuję się naprawdę Gwiazdkowo.
I really feel like it's Christmas. Not only for the snow outside the window, but also for the fact that I need to get ready for the holidays gift-wise (we don't have a tradition of Easter presents in my family). But this time the holidays coincide with three family anniversaries - my grandma's birthday, my mum's birthday and my grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary. So I feel really christmassy, getting all the presents ready.
Dla babci przygotowałam kartko-doniczkę według dawno już znalezionego, ale do tej czekającego tutorialu Julie Davison. Babcia lubi kwiaty, więc ilekroć przygotowuję coś dla niej, zawieram w pracy elementy kwiatowe, no i kolor pomarańczowy - jeden z babci ulubionych.
The card I made for my grandma is a flower pot card made along Julie Davison's video tutorial, which I found quite a while ago and haven't tried out up to now. Grandma likes flowers a lot so I always make something with flowers for her, and the colour orange - one of her favourite colours.
Bardzo podoba mi się ta kartka - doniczka robi za kopertę, w której ukryta jest właściwa kartka z miejscem na życzenia. Łatwo się ją robi, a efekt jest bardzo ciekawy. Mam nadzieję, że babci się spodoba. :)
I really like this card - the pot is an envelope and inside is the card itself with some room for a note. It's really easy to make and the result is quite interesting. I hope grandma'll like it.
