Myślałam sobie - a, tło to jakiekolwiek, nieważne, rach ciach i już, żeby tylko mieć jakiś spód. Jakże się myliłam. W międzyczasie okazało się, że to właśnie kolorowanie strony było największym odkryciem tego posiedzenia.
I sat down again with my art journal in order to test out DecoArt Crackle Glaze. I thought - ah, the background, whatever, just anything will do. I was so wrong. In the process, it turned out that it was the colouring of the page that was the revelation of the session.
Wszystko przez te czarodzieskie fluidy DecoArtowe - rozwodnione i zmieszane czerwony i turkusowy stworzyły tak piękne odcienie, że chyba pierwszy raz z ręką na sercu mogę powiedzieć, że pokochałam róż. No i ten fiolet! Mazałam i mazałam po tej stronie, a odcieni robiło się tylko więcej i więcej - coś pięknego. Ale wróćmy do crackle.
All because of these magical DecoArt Fluid Acrylics - watered down and mixed, the red and the turquoise produced such beautiful shades that I think it's the first time I can honestly say I love pink. And the purple! I kept brushing and brushing over the page and the shades kept multiplying - amazing. But back to the crackle.
Na tle nastemplowałam tu i tam, a potem wszystko pokryłam lakierem.
I sramped here and there on the background and sealed everything with varnish.
Po wyschnięciu po całości rozprowadziłam dość grubą warstwę Crackle Glaze, a kiedy wyschło, całość pokryłam czarnym Antiquing Cream. Przez chwilę było straszno, bo ciemno-czarno-nic-nie-widać, ale po wyschnięciu krem starłam mokrą chusteczką z powierzchni, podczas gdy spękania pozostały wypełnione.
After it dried, I spread a rather thick layer of Crackle Glaze on the entire page, and when that was dry, I covered everything with black Antiquing Cream. For a moment it was scary, dark-black-nothing-to-be-seen, but after it dried, the cream easily came off the surface with a damp wipe, while the cracks remained filled.
Efekt końcowy ogromnie mi się podoba. Co sądzicie?
